In a major shift to improve food quality, IRCTC has launched a Proof of Concept (PoC) to serve branded meals on select Vande Bharat and Amrit Bharat trains. Partnerships with brands like Haldiram’s, ISKCON, and Sarovar Portico have been initiated.
Passengers can now expect hygienically prepared, restaurant-quality food delivered directly to their seats. Early feedback from the Nagpur-Secunderabad route has been overwhelmingly positive, with travelers noting a "perceptible improvement" in taste and presentation.
